The coming weeks hold a lot of promise for the box-office, it seems. The trailers of next week’s release, Khatta Meetha, have been well-received and the film looks like an enjoyable comedy fare. In the case of Ekta Kapoor’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (due on 30th July), the Pee loon song is well on its way to becoming a rage. There’s also the additional craze building up to see the sexy-looking Emraan Hashmi with his well-toned body, and Ajay Devgan playing Haji Mastan in the period film. Anil Kapoor’s home production, Aisha (scheduled to release on 6th August), is being talked about by the youngsters in the cities and this, thanks in no small measure to the recent success of its heroine, Sonam Kapoor’s I Hate Luv Storys. Of course, Abhay Deol, the hero of Aisha, has his own loyal audience which would love to see the youngest Deol hero on the screen each time he has a release. The promotion of Peepli Live (due to hit the screens on 13th August) started on a fine note as its first trailer brought a smile on people’s faces. Additionally, the Mehengai song of the Aamir Khan production venture is catching the fancy of the public.

Does this mean that the next four weeks will see people rushing to the cinemas? Possibly! If the trailers and the songs of the forthcoming films are anything to go by, definitely!! Fingers crossed.
