Mirzapur 2: Netflix India’s Subtle DIG At Amazon Prime While Announcing Shweta Tripathi & Vikrant Massey’s Cargo

Yesterday, Amazon Prime Video finally answered the most awaited question of this year, ‘Mirzapur 2, Kab Aa Raha Hain?’ And ever since the announcement, the internet is flooded with Mirzapur memes and even Netflix has taken a subtle dig on the same.

Netflix India has now announced it’s upcoming movie starring Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi. Titled Cargo, it is making headlines because the OTT giant is acing at its social media game yet again.

Netflix India captioned their post, “Pehla consignment toh mil hi gaya hoga. Hum doosra bhej rahe hai, #Cargo se. Coming on 9th September only on Netflix.”

Commenting on the same Instagram post, Vikrant Massey wrote, “Areyyy! This is soooo cute. Thank you guys! 🧡”

Cargo actress Shweta Tripathi also commented on the post and wrote, “This is the cutest!! @netflix_in @primevideoin 🥰🤗💫”

Well, this is definitely a crossover that we weren’t expecting at all!

Meanwhile, Mirzapur 2 is releasing on October 23, 2020. The buzz around the show is enormous. Let’s see if the upcoming season is going to be worth your wait. The show stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal and many others.

On the other hand, Cargo is all set to hit the OTT platform on September 9. This film will be written and directed by Arati Kadav.
