Yes! You heard it right. The ten year old franchise, Sarkaar is all set to make a comeback with a third installment. Starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead as Subhash Nagre, a character based on Indian politician Balasaheb Thackeray.

The first two parts also featured Abhishek Bachchan as his son in the film where as in the second part, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen in a key role.

Announcing the third installment, RGV mentioned that he is very excited to work with Big B again. The new film will be shot in Mumbai and London. Also, he will now get a modern look in keeping with today’s times.

Since Abhishek’s character died in the second film, he will not be a part of the third installment nor will be Aishwarya.
