Shahid Kapoor : I Don’t See A Similarity Between Alia & Kareena

Alia Bhatt is often compared to Kareena Kapoor when it comes to her career in the film industry. The actress started off with a big debut and has even proven her acting prowess with films like Highway, which is just like Kareena who not only pulled off the glamorous roles, but also performed as an actress.

At the trailer launch of their upcoming film Shaandaar, Shahid Kapoor was asked if he too feels the same. Kareena’s ex-boyfriend and now Alia’s co-star, Shahid said, “First of all, it’s a big compliment for Alia that she’s compared with Kareena, since she’s an extremely established actress and has done some notable work. I don’t see any similarity between the two, since I feel Alia is an original actress and so is Kareena.”

“I did ‘Jab We Met‘ with Kareena many years ago, and now I’m doing ‘Shaandaar‘ with Alia. The only common aspect is that I’m doing a love story. But other than that, I think both are phenomenal actors. Both of them are fantastic in their own ways,” he said.

Shaandaar“, directed by Vikas Bahl of “Queen” fame, is being produced by Phantom Films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and is slated to release on 22nd October, 2015.
