Daawat-e-Ishq crossed the 20 crore mark by the end of its first week. The film starring Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur had a disappointing start but it managed to pull off a decent business by the completion of its 1 week run at the Domestic Box Office. The film has made a business of 20.45 crores over the first week.

The business has been slightly better than the other release Khoobsurat. This film had less chances to pick up considering it had low positive word of mouth. It had not created enough buzz and since the music of the film too was not popular enough, there was little that worked for this film.

Multiplexes showed a decent footfall over the week but single screens remained low. Even though the film was a love story, Parineeti and Aditya could not spice up their chemistry. Overall Daawat-e-Ishq in spite of coming from a big banner like YRF failed to create an impact on the audiences.
