Gunday Expected To Soar High; Thanks To Its Opening Day Occupancy At The Box Office

Ranveer Singh-Arjun Kapoor starrer Gunday opens today. After creating much uproar of a great star cast and good music, the film chose a perfect date for its release, it seems. Since, it’s a Valentine’s Day, Gunday is all set to cash in on it.

The film is getting a good response on its opening day, what with young valentine’s couples flocking in theatres as a part of their celebration. The multiplex occupancy is expected to boost collections, while the film will do a decent business in single screens too.

Not being a rom-com, Gunday is still getting a huge response on account of its big banner and majorly benefiting from its time of release. Compared to a normal day collection, the film can expect approx 20-25% extra business. With 60% occupancy in the morning and early afternoon shows, we may expect a double digit collection for the opening day.
