However, the actor has clarified that he is single and too immersed in work! His spokesperson gave an official statement stating, “Shahid has met Huma socially and briefly exchanged pleasantries. He has been absorbed with work with little time to himself.”

Shahid went on to clear the air about his link up with Huma, “I have no clue where these stories crop from. I’ve met Huma only twice. Singledom has its own challenges. Every girl you meet is taken to be a potential relationship.”

With his important films like Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and Rambo Rajkumar lined up this year, he surely is one actor who will incur quite a lot of attention in the later part of 2013.
