Join UsThe trailer of Raanjhanaa has finally been released by Eros International. The Bollywood debut of South Indian actor Dhanush, who quickly took to popularity after his song Kolaveri Di, the film also stars actress Sonam Kapoor and actor Abhay Deol in lead roles. The film has been shot extensively in Benaras, abundant in rich archaic beauty, the music of the film is by Academy Award winning musician A.R Rahman.
As one can guess from the trailer, the film’s plot is a tender love story where Dhanush, as a teenager falls madly in love with Sonam. However, the childhood love wavers when she meets the student politician Abhay who commands power and confidence. Essentially a mild love story, the film will unravel the love story of Dhanush and Sonam.

The film is being directed by Aanand L Rai, who had also directed Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut starrer Tanu Weds Manu. Producer Krishika Lulla has scheduled the film for a June 21st release.
