Rohit Shetty’s comedy with a crazy cast of Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Kunal Khemu, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade has created a Nasik city record for single screen cinemas by collecting Rs. 5,46,132 in its 1st week at Mahalakshmi, Nasik. It managed such a fancy figure in spite of running in five multiplexes simultaneously (in 63 shows daily). It also created a record by collecting Rs. 8,00,495 in 1st week at Shyam, Raipur. This is the highest collection in a single-screen cinema of C.P. Berar. ‘Golmaal 3’ went on to create history by collecting a whooping Rs. 3,83,73,588 in 1st week in Ahmedabad.
