Shah Rukh Beats Hrithik, Salman; While Sridevi Beats Vidya, Priyanka at Koimoi Audience Poll 2012
All the nominations of The Koimoi Audience Poll 2012 are out, with voting from fans across the country happening in full swing. Among the Best Actress nominations, we had expected Vidya Balan to sweep all the votes with her stellar performance in Kahaani, however, the Polls have a different story to tell.
The most promising comeback by Sridevi with her English Vinglish wooed the audience at the theatres as well as the Koimoi Poll. Kahaani may have done much more business than English Vinglish, but the yesteryear diva Sridevi has now garnered more than 50% of the audience votes leaving the current big names like Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif much behind in the race. Good business at the Box Office, acceptance by critics as well as the audience and loads of love at this Poll, Sridevi is riding really high.

Coming to Best Actor nominations, this superstar always says “I like winning awards and I would like to win more”. And winning online audience poll for his fatherly figure’s last directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan is an icing on the cake. Shah Rukh Khan is leading with 40% of votes in 2012 Best Actor category and his film Jab Tak Hai Jaan is leading in the Best Movie category with more than 35% of the votes. Moreover, JTHJ is also leading in the Best Dialogues category.
The menacing Kancha Cheena aka Sanjay Dutt in Agneepath is leading with a mind blowing 55% of the votes in the Best Villain category.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg2 is leading in the Best Music nominations and his Ek Tha Tiger is leading in the Best Action Poll.

Technology is way advanced than you think. The counter only counts one vote from your IP, i.e. the 1st one. You can vote ‘n’ number of times but only 1 vote is counted. Please get your facts right before using hard words like “farce”.
It seems your knowledge is quite incomplete. There are technologies available in the global market where in you can disguise your IP while voting and each time you vote it will register different IP address from shared pool. Most PR companies use this!

Wouldn’t a small disclaimer solve your solution which would say “Please be aware that people can vote multiple times on this vote. I have a WP site and I cannot help it”
Seems you have a habit of picking up fights. So let me go in to the detail. We are using an algorithm to stop repeat visitors which Blocks by cookie and by IP address. If there are people with lack in life as to clear cookies and change IP address every time just to win a vote I salute them. And like I already said since you seem to be a genius at coding why don’t you help me find a fix for this. I have developers who will even assist you on this.
