Karan Johar, who is very active on the micro-blogging website, Twitter, has second thoughts when it comes to the opinions of fellow Tweeple (Twitter people). Speaking at the session, ‘Do Film Reviews Matter?’ at FICCI Frames on March 17, Karan remarked, “We’ll all be comatose if we go by the reviews on Twitter.”
However, the filmmaker is okay with posting messages about his daily work schedules and even intimate family celebrations. In the wee hours of March 18, Karan tweeted about his mother’s birthday. A couple of hours later, he thanked his followers for their wishes, “Thank you all for your heartfelt wishes for mom… have conveyed all the twitter love to her… she was really happy!”
Clearly, the Twitter wishes work, but Twitter reviews don’t.
