Sumeet Vyas is having the best time of his life in terms of career and his personal life. The Ribbon actor welcomed his first child with wife and television actress, Ekta Kaul a while ago and have been having a busy time in the pandemic and making memories with son, Ved Vyas.
Sumeet is one of those phenomenal actors who get into the character completely. He rose to fame with TVF’s Permanent Roommates and since then the journey has been beautiful.
The season two of the same was released in February 2016 and since then the fans have been desperately waiting for the upcoming season for Permanent Roommates. Although later, he was seen in TVF’s Tripling which is again a successful series with three siblings doing road trips and he happened to play the eldest brother.
Last year, Tripling released it’s season two and it was a massive success. Talking about the updates of TVF’s Permanent Roommates season 3, Koimoi exclusively spoke to Sumeet Vyas and below is all you need to know about.
“We want to but right now we are in a situation where we don’t know really. A show like Tripling is about three siblings travelling on road by car, train and going to different cities. I don’t know how and when will be able to shoot that kinda show and that’s the crux of Tripling. You can’t do a Tripling inside a bungalow, that won’t be fun. It’s a travel show. So, we are hoping for things to get a little better,” he said.
“And the same thing is with Permanent Roommates, you know. We don’t know which direction we can take, what are the steps that we can tell in the story and still be relevant. The real question is that you create content which is relevant and which people can relate to in this point and time. The fact that Permanent Roommates first season worked because nothing like that was present at that point and people really could relate to that, Vyas added.
Sumeet Vyas laughed and concluded by saying, “I bombard Biswapati Sarkar to write the script.”
Besides Vyas, TVF’s Permanent Roommates stars Nidhi Singh as the female lead and Tripling stars Amol Parashar and Maanvi Gagroo in pivotal roles.
