Teaser Released For Crime Comedy Drama Soodhu Kavvum 2

In the forthcoming sequel, “Soodhu Kavvum 2,” ‘Mirchi Shiva’ assumes the protagonist’s mantle, complemented by the tagline “Naadum Naatu Makkalum,” under the astute direction of SJ Arjun. Set to grace screens in the summer of 2024, the film’s teaser has recently been disclosed. It is lauded as an authentic extension of Nalan Kumarasamy’s revered cinematic gem, “Soodhu Kavvum,” released in 2013. Co-produced by C V Kumar, who also supported the original, along with Thangaraj, the sequel aims to advance the franchise’s success. Renowned for its quirky characters and unexpected comedic twists, the original film followed the escapades of a petty kidnapper, delivering a delightful blend of humor and chaos.

Cast and crew

The teaser of Soodhu Kavvum 2 hints at an exhilarating journey filled with dark humor featuring a mix of criminals, politicians, and law enforcement. Karthik K Thillai is behind the camera, capturing the visuals, while Edwin Louis Viswanath creates the musical score. Ignatious Aswin takes charge as the film’s editor.
