For FRIENDS fans, it is not just a sitcom, it’s a whole feeling. Recently, the TV series completed 25 years but the characters and everything about it still feels new and has a strong connection with the audience.
The series gave us all 6 amazing friends – Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe played by Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow, respectively. The last episode aired in the year 2004 and FRIENDS fans are eagerly waiting for the reunion of their favourite stars.
Looks like this is going to happen soon. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max will have all the cast of the sitcom reunited as the request is being put forward by the six actors and the creators of the NBC comedy from Warner Bros TV.
So the agreement is done, the reunion might surely happen but the schedule of each actor plays a key role here. If the schedule doesn’t add up, the chances of Friends reunion happening will be zero. The unscripted reunion special will also have series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman.
When the portal got in touch with WBTV and HBO Max, they declined to comment anything on the matter.
Meanwhile, People’s Choice Awards 2019, our very own Rachel aka Jennifer Aniston was given the People’s Icon Award. On receiving the award, Jennifer said, “If I have any claim to this word ‘icon,’ it’s only because I was able to be on an ‘iconic’ show with an ‘iconic’ cast and [with] an ‘iconic’ haircut.”
