We already know that Sandalwood actor Sudeep’s new movie poster Pailwaan is already out. He is spending quality time with his family in London. The film revolves around professional wrestling and boxing. Now a royal touch to the film is being given by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
According to Chitraloka reports, Sudeep is paying a huge sum to Shah Rukh Khan for Pailwaan’s editing. Visual effects are required for around one hour of the film, mostly in the wrestling and boxing sequences. While a Chennai-based company is overlooking the VFX for the wrestling scenes, Red Chillies has been entrusted with the VFX for the boxing sequences, said Krishna.
“Red Chillies are the best in the business. Yes it is expensive, but the quality they provide is on par with the best in the world. VFX for a minute of the film would cost up to Rs 20 lakh. My family members are horrified that the budget has gone up once again. But I have seen the product and am more than confident in it. It is only after the entire editing was completed that we are going for the VFX. That way, we spend only on shots we require,” Krishna said.

The boxing scenes required VFX to create the stadium and crowds. “We shot the boxing scenes in a specially erected boxing ring set. These were some of the best scenes I have ever shot and I dare say some of the very best in Kannada ever. We had planned for the visual effects of the stadium and the crowds while shooting. Red Chillies will bring them alive now,” he said.
Last month, the makers of Pailwaan announced that the movie will hit the theatres on the occasion of Varamahalakshmi festival, on August 8.
