Christopher Nolan has now opened up on how he bought a Boeing 747 Plane for a crucial sequence in the film just to blow it up. He also explained why he did not opt for CGI or a miniature shooting process.

Talking to Total Film Magazine about the same said, “I planned to do it using miniatures and set-piece builds and a combination of visual effects and all the rest. However, while scouting for locations in Victorville, California, the team discovered a massive array of old planes.”
