DC Trivia #17: We all get that ‘wow’ feeling when seeing Christian Bale in a Batman suit or drool over Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn costume. But, do you know every DC superhero has a weird rule to follow planning their loo breaks? Read the trivia to know more.
Despite our love for the eye-pleasing costumes our superheroes wear, we all know how much they weigh and how difficult it becomes to move in those pieces. Hence, every DC actor has to plan their loo break accordingly in order to manage to shoot their scenes in costumes without any resistance.
A trivia published on The Things read, “Costumes worn by DC characters like Batman, Catwoman, and Superman might look amazing but they can be difficult to move around in and even trickier to get out of. This is the reason that DC actors who wear restrictive outfits need to plan out their bathroom breaks in advance.”
While having a chat with Huffington Post UK, Christian Bale had said should his Batman costume in the past: “When it gets cold the cowl is extremely tight, and it gets better the warmer I get it; it becomes more flexible. But after a couple of takes, I was trying to breathe properly in my nose. I was starting to see stars and I said ‘I have to take this off’. And thank God on this one I can – on Batman Begins I couldn’t – so I had to get inside because I couldn’t let anybody see me without the cowl.”
