Ridley Scott directed the historical saga, and David Scarpa wrote the story. Martin Phipps composed the music for the film. Dariusz Wolski did the cinematography, and Claire Simpson and Sam Restivo edited the movie.

Napoleon Plot/Synopsis

The story is set in 1973, during the French Revolution, when Napoleon Bonaparte was obsessed with saving France. The French emperor fought various battles, winning some and losing several. Under his reign, France witnesses a lot of changes. Not everyone is pleased with his methods. But Napoleon believed he was doing the right thing.

The film’s official plotline reads, “Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.”

The Ridley Scott directorial was shot in England’s Lincoln, Buckinghamshire’s Stowe House, West Wycombe Park; Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, West Sussex’s Petworth House, Northamptonshire’s Boughton House and the Old Royal Naval College in London. The team also shot in Malta, Kalkara’s Fort Ricasoli and Morocco’s Merzouga desert area. The shooting commenced in 2022 and was completed within 62 days.
