Harry Potter author JK Rowling called for trouble with her “Transphobic” comments a few weeks ago. But it seems like the internet is still not done schooling her yet. Now, turns out Rowling who had praised physicist Stephen King in a tweet, has now deleted it after he voiced his support towards the transgender community. Below is what exactly happened.
A quick recap, in a column that the Harry Potter creator wrote a few weeks back, she spoke about the women menstruating amid the pandemic and their problems. JK Rowling while penning it, gave a side-eye to the transgender community. Resulting in many calling the author a transphobic person. She even defended herself by revealing that she is also a victim of domestic abuse.
British Labour Party MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle in his statement recently accused JK Rowling of sabotaging her Transphobic comments with her domestic violence story. The author replied to the MP with a quote by Andrea Dworkin. The tweet reached Stephen King who retweeted it.
