Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 1 Review: As I gulp yet another sip of my third cup of dark coffee, I divert my thought process about the ‘beginning of the end’ to the ‘end of the beginning’. For the time being, let’s label the premiere episode as ‘War Reunites Them All’.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) meets Arya (Maisie Williams) and Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright), Arya meets Gendry (Joe Dempsie) & Sandor Clegane aka The Hound (Rory McCann), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) meets Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Samwell Tarley  (John Bradley) meets Jon and please, hold your breath for the last one – let’s not reveal it! (Yes, that’s the same amount of disappointment everyone will have with the ending of episode 1).
