2020 has spoiled everything for many people. From the economy of various countries to losing the loved ones, the year has been unkind in every possible way. Amid all the trauma and tensions, humans are finding solace in entertainment. However, even that is severely affected as some movies didn’t release as expected & shootings of many were stopped. Marvel’s Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson falls in the former category.
Since 2010, when Johansson made her entry as Natasha Romanoff in MCU with Iron Man, fans wanted to know more about her. However, despite being a part of so many Marvel movies, Natasha’s past was never revealed. After much protest by the audience, Marvel finally made a solo movie on her superhero character.
Black Widow was earlier supposed to release in May. However, the pandemic was at its peak in the world during that time, and theatres were shut. Hence, Scarlett Johansson’s movie didn’t release. It got postponed to November 6, 2020. But the latest report suggests that it might now get delayed to 2021.

As reported by WeGotThisCovered, Marvel is apparently planning not to release the movie this year. They are closely going to notice the box office figures of movies that will release in theatres amid the pandemic, including Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. Based on the same, they will decide if Black Woman will hit the screens in November this year or not.
If the release date of Scarlett Johansson’s movie is pushed ahead, it will again affect the entire slate of MCU movies. But considering it is MCU, they might find a suitable date if they plan it to postpone.
