Taika Waititi will be helming the upcoming Marvel film, Thor: Love and Thunder starring Chris Hemsworth in the lead role. The director received a great response for his last Thor directorial titled Thor: Ragnarok (2017). The fourth film on God of Thunder will be based after the events that happened in Avengers: Endgame.
In Avengers: Endgame, Chris’ character Thor slips into depression and hence, he becomes addicted to drinking and overeating. This leads to gain in a lot of weight of our otherwise well-toned God of Thunder. Now, PETA wants fat Thor to go vegan in the upcoming, Thor: Love and Thunder.
As reported by Wegotthiscovered, PETA Senior VP Lisa Lange said, “Chris Hemsworth went vegan while filming the original Thor and The Avengers films, and other Marvel Cinematic Universe stars like Benedict Cumberbatch and Natalie Portman are powered by plants.”
Lisa added, “If Thor is serious about protecting the Earth, going vegan makes a lot of sense—axing animal products from his diet could save more than 1,000 gallons of water, 20 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions, and 30 square feet of forest each day as well as the lives of nearly 200 animals a year!”
We wonder what Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth have to say on PETA’s expectations from the Marvel superhero.

Talking about Thor 4, the film will also star Natalie Portman who will reprise her role as Jane. She will play the female Thor in the film. Another important character in Chris’ films is Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. After he died in Avengers: Infinity War, no one knows if God of Mischief will return in Waititi’s upcoming film or not. The 2012 Loki who escaped with the tesseract in Endgame is still alive. So no one knows what the makers have planned for the fans!
