Avengers: Endgame released last year and went out to be one of the biggest blockbusters worldwide. The film saw a half of our favourite superheroes coming back to life after Thanos turned them into dust in Avengers: Infinity War.
Fighting against Thanos wasn’t easy as he had the Infinity gauntlet and a sea of an army to fight against our superheroes. However, when Mark Ruffalo aka Hulk snapped his fingers using the Infinity gauntlet and the infinity stones, everyone returned. But Hulk had to lose his hand in the process. Not only that, everyone’s favourite Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr had to sacrifice his life to kill Thanos.
Along with the performances and the story, fans were impressed with the amazing VFX and CGI work by the team of Avengers: Endgame. The war scene in the climax is considered as one of the best scenes throughout the film. However, fans couldn’t skip one small error made by the VFX team of the film regarding Thanos.
During the climax, when Thanos takes the Infinity Gauntlet and tries to snap his finger, we could see his fingers through the glove. While it can be seen just for a second, fans who saw the film noticed it. Thanos’ fingers shouldn’t be seen as the gauntlet is thick solid with no spaces in the fingers part.

In an interaction with Corridor Crew, Avengers: Endgame VFX artist Matt Aitken was shown this clip and asked about it. Matt said, “I know, we missed that. I wish we caught it at the time. It just goes to show there’s always a little bit more that you could do. But yeah, we were doing a lot of work on the armour. You don’t want to constrain what [Thanos actor] Josh [Brolin] was doing on set, you want him to be able to perform and you just have to make the armour work to that.”

Well, now it can’t be rectified and there’s nothing much to worry about too. At Oscars, the film was nominated in the Best VFX category this year.
