However, things turned ugly as the Aquaman actress accused her then-husband of domestic violence. Eventually they both ended up in a divorce battle.

According to court papers filed in Fairfax County Virginia, the beauty’s last message to her husband remained, “Do this or undue [sic] this as we see fit. You and I have the control. And love each other.”
This was when Amber Heard felt that her husband had already filed for a divorce. “I thought you filed [for divorce]. You said you were going to and said goodbye. I’m sorry if I’ve hurt you. I have nothing but love forward you,” read her texts further.
However, eventually things fell apart and a divorce battle began. Amber accused Johnny Depp of domestic violence. Things took a twist when a certain audio of the Aquaman actress herself admitting to physical assault from her end surfaced the internet. As expected, it spread like a wildfire and Heard received a lot of backlash for it.
Ever since, petitions are being filed at Change.org where the DC fans have been urging the Aquaman makers of removing Amber Heard from the franchise.
