Sushant Singh Rajput gives his career best performance. He nails the act of playing the Indian skipper with complete perfection. His body language, smile, walk and the inherent confidence is all picked up by Rajput with ease.

The Cricket portions are a treat to the eyes and especially the climax of the World Cup could still make teary eyed with joy.

A strong supporting cast and an aptly captured middle-class milieu of Ranchi makes this film a genius.

The setbacks are a languid pace of the story, a huge run-time that could have been cut down with a few cuts on the romantic angle.

Nonetheless, this is once again Neeraj Pandey’s class direction clubbed with Sushant’s ace act!
