The Dark Knight Rises indeed created a stir in the Indian Box Office Scenario. Having shaken all other Bollywood releases at the Box Office this weekend, the movie amassed a decent 17 Crores. The Box Office Collections of The Dark Knight Rises, however, fell steeply on it’s 1st Monday.

The movie made a mere 2.50 Crores at the Indian Box Office on Monday. Having released on limited screens across the country and being a movie of the Multiplex Crowd seems to be 2 of the main reasons for this shortfall.
