Christopher Nolan’s much-awaited Tenet will be finally witnessing its international release on coming August 26. The sci-fi was earlier scheduled to release in July but got postponed due to pandemic. In the US, it will release in selected areas on September 3 but some of the countries where COVID-19 has been controlled to an extent, the fans will be able to watch it in less than 15 days from now.
The UK is one of those countries where Tenet will be releasing on August 26. The advance booking in several parts started on Tuesday and the response has been warm so far.
According to a Variety report, Vue i.e. Europe’s one of the largest cinema chains has recorded very good ticket sales so far. Interestingly, Tenet has sold 60% of tickets for the company by Wednesday. And it’s not like the film is having a small release there. Reportedly, the Vue Ocean Terminal theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland will have 19 shows for the film on opening day, and other theaters around the U.K., like the Cineworld in Wolverhampton, England, will have as much as 29. Isn’t that amazing?

But that’s not it. The CEO of Vue, Tim Richards thinks it’s just a start. He has said that the sales are “going to pick up very, very quickly in the week before release,” as more cinemas reopen.
Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Caine & Dimple Kapadia in lead roles.
