These are superb by all means and now match some of the biggest films of all times. With 137 crores in its kitty already, the film is now in serious contention to hit the 150 crore mark. Now that would be astonishing by all means as only nine films have managed this feat in the industry of Bollywood and with such great numbers, the Aanand L. Rai directed film would find its place in Top-10 grossers of all times.
For producers Eros, the film is now their biggest grosser ever in India. They have indeed won a lottery with this film which was low on budget, high on concept and excellent in execution!
While the film has now brought Aanand L. Rai firmly and strongly in the list of most-sought filmmakers in the country today, Kangna Ranaut has seen her career graph zoom like never before. With Katti Batti has her next release, she is on a roll. As for Madhavan, his next – Saala Khadoos – which is produced by Rajkumar Hirani, is being looked at with renewed interest.
