Student of the Year made about 9.25 Crores on its opening day at the domestic box office. The movie did pretty well in metros and multiplexes across the country.
The collections are considerably good for a movie with only newbies. Single Screens and non-urban areas, however, struck to a pretty average box office collection.
Student of the Year’s promotional campaigns made sure it has a nice opening and footfall was steady. There is no doubt that the collections of SOTY will remain steady throughout the weekend with a probability that Sunday will see a good jump.
