Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana & Jitendra Kumar Starrer Crosses The Lifetime Of Prequel In 6 Days

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar starrer has underperformed at the Box Office. After a decent weekend, the film has trended way below the mark in weekdays. Though the silver lining is that it has still managed to cross the lifetime business of its prequel in just 6 days.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan collected 2.62 crores on Wednesday thus taking the 6 day total to 42.22 crores. With this, it has crossed Shubh Mangal Saavdhan which did a lifetime business of 41.90 crores back in 2017.

The film was a slow starter at the Box Office but trended well to end up collecting this much number which was enough to make the film a hit. However, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has been made on “Zyada” budget and hence it will need “Zyada” business to become a Hit. And that doesn’t look possible going by the current scenario.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a light-heart romantic comedy based on homosexuality.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann recently said that he feels the film has been successfully made, released and accepted is because even before same-s*x relationships became legal in India, many actors stuck their neck out and gave the audience some brilliant work on the subject. He says he has all those actors and films to credit first.

“The fact that ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan‘ is a success today is because the path was made for it by others. Many before me have toiled hard to make the path smoother. We have to realise and acknowledge the monumental work that was done by some of the finest actors of Indian cinema much before me,” he said.
