Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, has been having a poor run at the North American box office. In 10 days, the film has not even reached the $1 million mark. The region has a strong fan following for lead actor Vijay Deverakonda. However, his latest film is not receiving the kind of love that his previous films have witnessed.
Ranabaali marks the on-screen reunion of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. It is also their first film together following their marriage earlier this year. Even as the couple dominates trends with controversies, the film does not quite benefit from it. After receiving poor reviews and mixed word-of-mouth, the film has failed to gain momentum.
Ranabaali North America Box Office
On its second Sunday, the film earned just $12K in North America. It was even behind the Telugu horror film 418, which earned $22K on its first Sunday. On its second Saturday, the film had earned $23K. Its Sunday collection represents a sharp dip of nearly 50%. During its second weekend in the region, the film earned $51K. This marks a sharp drop from its opening weekend collection of $704K, representing a 92.76% decline in collections.

Ranabaali‘s total North American box office collection after 10 days stands at $896K. The film had strong advance bookings in the region despite clashing with Jailer 2. However, after a strong opening weekend, the film dramatically crashed at the box office. Going forward, it has hardly any chance of redemption. The film is now far away from its break-even target as well.
How Much Does Ranabaali Need To Earn To Break Even In North America?
It has been learned that Ranabaali needs to gross $2.2 million to break even at the North American box office. This equals 20.87 crore in Indian rupees. Earlier, this target seemed achievable, but at its current pace, the film may not reach the milestone.
Vijay Deverakonda’s last release, Kingdom, grossed $1.76 million despite poor word-of-mouth. Unfortunately, Vijay’s latest release won’t come close to Kingdom’s final collection. In fact, it is expected to wrap up just above Kingdom’s premiere collections, standing at $933K.

Ranabaali is directed by Rahul Sankrityayan and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Ajay-Atul has composed the music. It is said to be Vijay Deverakonda’s most expensive film, with a reported budget of 120–150 crore.
