Ramleela by the conclusion of its opening week in overseas landed at a whopping amount of U.S.D 5.20 million which sums up to 31 crores INR approx.The film that was one of India’s most aesthetic translations of Shakespeare’s iconic play Romeo and Juliet, began off to a brilliant in the overseas too. In the domestic circuit, the film has been earning very stably staying maintained in the higher range, but in the overseas the film even surpassed 2013’s more able films Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Krrish 3 too in the opening weekend.
The film in U.S.A till the draw of its opening week earned in the range of 11.30 crores approximately. In Australia and New Zealand, the film made 2.53 crores. Though the updated figures from other key circuits are still being compiled, the film has put up a stellar show in the overseas so far.

Though the film has still not made an entry on Koimoi’s List of Top Grossers Overseas, the film is showing ample mettle for the same. However with other significant releases making their presence felt this week, Ramleela’s scope might have reduced. But given Deepika Padukone success spree this year and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most mesmeric product, the film has solid chances of not just making it on the list but also thriving there.
