Join Us‘Pyaar Ka Punchamana 2‘ which released today opened fairly well around the range of 20-25% for the morning shows. As expected, in Delhi and the North circuits, the film started on a good note of 40-45% of occupancy. It put up a low performance in the eastern circuit & CP-Berar as it mainly caters to Delhi and NCR multiplex audiences.
We can expect an increase in the number of footfalls by late evening and over the weekend. Since the prequel was quite popular, this film too is expected to enjoy a good response from the youth. Compared to other releases of the year such as, ‘Bombay Velvet‘ and ‘Katti Batti‘, this anti love story has opened well.
