Mr. X experienced the usual Monday drop on its fourth day. As per early estimates, the Emraan Hashmi starrer collected 2.50 crores approx on its first Monday and now stands with a total collection of 16.49 crores at the domestic box office. After having an average weekend, it was expected that the film would not remain steady over the week day.

Mr. X has received mixed reviews from the critics. The film is performing its best in the North circuits such as Delhi, UP. Being meant for a family audience, the film was expected to perform better at the multiplexes but it has not.

Overall the film’s music being popular and also since it is a 3D film with superhero undertones, it has managed to pull off decent collections so far.
