Kaththi directed by A.R.Murgadoss starring south superstar Vijay was expected to have a bumper opening considering the huge appeal that the star has and also since it released over Diwali. The film is performing extremely well at the India and Overseas Box Office.

In the first week itself, the film has crossed 50 crores at the Indian Box Office which is commendable for a regional movie.

In the Overseas circuit, the film has collected 25 crores. So far, there are only 3 Tamil movies that have made it to the 100 crores club.

Vijay’s last film with Murugadoss, Thupakki had also made it to the 100 crores and so it was expected that this film will too attain the feat. Kaththi is expected to attain this milestones in a week or so.
