Kabir Singh released at the Box Office on June 21 and took a flying start. Not just the film surpassed the opening expectations, it also shattered the wildest expectations of lifetime business by leaps and bounds.
While the trade and fans wanted Kabir Singh to just cross the 100 crores mark, it did that in just 1 week. On top of that, the film has crossed the 200 crores mark in just 13 days of its release and is now aiming the 300 crores mark.

So the total 12 day collections of Padmaavat are way more than Kabir Singh but if we talk about the trend, it’s the Kabir Singh which is leading the way. While the latest Shahid Kapoor starrer film was giving Padmaavat a competition in the first week only, it has clearly started collecting more than Padmaavat recently. Notably, the second Tuesday collections of Kabir Singh were 8.31 crores compared to second Monday collections of Padmaavat i.e. 7 crores. In the coming days, the trend will follow and Kabir Singh will be directly targetting the lifetime business of Padmaavat.
