After Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, it looks like it’s Irrfan Khan ’s turn to leave his mark at the Chinese Box Office, with Saket Choudhary’s Hindi Medium. The film is on a glorious streak on the big screens in China, proving that it doesn’t take a big budget or an ensemble of superstars to become a financial success.
On Wednesday, the film witnessed a minor drop in collections similar to Tuesday, collecting $1.16 millions. So far, the Irrfan Khan starrer has earned a total of $25.06 millions during its run in China. While it does look like the film is showing signs of running out of gas, its collection during its second week will make its standing perfectly clear.
The film has shown growth since day one of its release, as it managed to surpass Aamir Khan’s Dangal and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in terms of first day collections. Already past the 150 crore mark, the film is expected to reach the 200 crore mark by next week, however nothing can be said for sure.
