Hasee Toh Phasee on its opening day at the box office earned in the range of 4.25 Crores as per early estimates. The film that is essentially a romantic comedy fared extremely well in the multiplexes. It would be faulty to call it a niche film but it is true that the movie will not be received very well in the single screen of mass-based circuits.
The film has been reviewed well by the critics and Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra‘s chemistry has been hailed by one and all. The positive word of the mouth will help the film see a consistent growth over the weekend. Given its modest budget, the film might recover its investment and earn further given the positive hype around it. However, with Gunday releasing next week, the film has only a week’s window to earn to its fullest.
