Happy Ending was a huge disappointment over the first weekend. The film starring Saif Ali Khan, Govinda, Ileana DCruz in lead roles could not perform up to the mark in spite of having a good star cast. The film was overall received well by the critics but it failed to pick up much over the weekend. In 3 days, the film made a business of 14.50 crores at the domestic box office.
Sadly, even the multiplexes in urban centers such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore remained low over the weekend. Mass circuits as expected remained low since the film’s main target audience is the urban.
Looking at the collections so far and considering that there will be a expected drop on Monday, the film is performing too low.
