The movie, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, managed to make a business of around 1.55 crores nett at the Box Office. Standing at a nett India total of 17.25 crores so far, the movie still needs some more moolah to recover its investments.
As, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy‘s budget is estimated around 22 Crores (approx), it won’t find difficult to recover it, though entering the Hit zone might be a difficult task for the film, as it is already facing a tough competition with Hollywood film Furious 7; moreover the upcoming week’s multiple releases will affect DBB’s screen count.
It seems, this YRF venture’s business would have been more better, had it not faced the clash with Hollywood film Furious 7.
