The film after a decent start trended very badly due to negative word of mouth and ended up at the lifetime business of just 97.50 crores net.

Zero was a major Flop for Shah Rukh Khan and gave the distributors huge loss. It was only after this movie he decided to take a sabbatical and take some time making choice for his next films.
