Golmaal 3 has done extraordinary business from North to South and East to West. Contrary to what we had predicted, it proves an overflow film. The Ajay Devgan-Kareena Kapoor starrer has garnered total collections of Rs. 470 million (47 crore) from 633 cinemas in India in the first week.

Action Replayy picked up wonderfully on the second day (Saturday) after a dismal start, but crashed thereafter. The Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer proves a debacle.

In last week’s releases, Skyline (dubbed) is an engaging entertainer but it lacks freshness and looks like one more of the many already-seen films. Also, given its unsatisfactory ending, it will not make much of a mark. Skyline’s opening in Bombay was dull. Opening was weak at many places. The original English version has opened simultaneously and it is expected to fare to fare slightly better.
A Flat is a dull horror fare which neither thrills nor chills. Given its poor promotion, it will go
largely unnoticed.
Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun.. will fail at the box-office. Its dubbed Hindi version has also been released simultaneously and its box-office fate will hardly be any different.
Ramaa The Saviour is a weak fare with bleak chances at the box-office. Its poor promotion
will add to its tale of woes even with Khali in the film.
Given that there are only an estimated 20 million Facebook users in India, the appeal of The Social Network to the general population at large will not be immense.
