Boss Settled For A Dwindling 2nd Saturday At The Box Office

The film that had the promising look of a Blockbuster, failed to spark off anything thunderous at the box office. By the advent of Boss‘ second week, the film is already striking ground low in terms of numbers. On its 2nd Saturday, despite being a weekend, the film could only collect 1.10 crores at the box office, elevating its domestic total to a minimal amount of 51.40 crores.

By virtue of the film’s bad performance, domestic box office has withstood a severe arid spell which needs a strong commercial venture to revive it. Luckily the advent of Krrish 3 couldn’t have been more timely as the film might just turn lucky given the terrible box office conditions in October with mostly dull releases. Sadly 2013 has remained an unlucky year for Akshay Kumar when none of his films emerged as good performers in the commercial market.
