Batla House Box Office: John Abraham Scores His 2nd Highest Opener With The Film

Yet again, John Abraham has secured a double digit opening with a film of his. Not many actors can boast of this feat. However, John Abraham has managed this with Batla House and that too when there has been a formidable opponent in the shape of Mission Mangal.

In the process, the film is now his second biggest grosser ever when it comes to the opening day numbers. His last year release Satyameva Jayate sits right at the top of the list and that film had managed to in fact go past the 20 crores mark on its release. That too was an Independence Day release and had clashed with an Akshay Kumar starrer (Gold).

Though no new record has been scored this time around, the fact still remains that for John Abraham, the film has been a good opener and would be aiming to consolidate from here on.
