With things coming back on track in China, movies like 1917, Ford V Ferrari and Sonic The Hedgehog made their way back at the box office. It’s also been reported that the sales of tickets as compared to the last week has dropped all over China.

After keeping the cinemas shut for 6 months, China reopened them three weeks ago. Theatres in the regions where there still is a risk of COVID have not opened yet. Only selected theatres have been resumed to screen. Those theatres up and running are facing many restrictions. The shows will be reduced to half of their previous numbers and just 30% of those shows will be filled with the audience.

It stars George MacKay as Lance Corporal Schofield and Dean-Charles Chapman as Lance Corporal Blake who is given an impossible task to deliver a message deep in the heart of an enemy territory that, if successful, would save the lives of 1,600 British soldiers.
