‘Vaastu Shastra’ Director Saurabh Narang Passes Away

The director of horror flick Vaastu Shasta, Saurabh Narang passed away on the June 26, 2010, after a battle with cancer. The director was undergoing cancer treatment in Colombo, Sri Lanka and is survived by his wife Priyanka and 3-year-old son Agastya.

Saurabh Narang began his career by directing the hit television series ‘Shhh…Koi Hai’. He hit the jackpot in 2004 when Ram Gopal Varma gave him a chance to direct Vaastu Shastra in 2004 starring Sushmita Sen. His friends from the industry were shocked to hear of his demise. Narang was starting work on his next film Return Gift.
