The Great Indian Kapil Show Episode 1 was released on March 30 on Netflix.. The comedy series features Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda and Archana Puran Singh. The first guests on Kapil’s show were Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima.
It’s the first time a show like this in India has aired on a streaming platform. But another reason why people are excited about it is because of Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover. After their fallout 6-7 years ago, the comedians have reunited and decided to make the audience laugh together. Many people had lots of hopes for the duo and the show altogether.

Just finished watching #TheGreatIndianKapilShow – It was average at best. The best part of the show was Sunil Grover simply because it looked effortless. Kiku & Krushna were trying hard which was pretty evident on screen. Anyhow, looking forward to more episodes.
Meanwhile, on the show, Neetu Kapoor greatly praised her son Ranbir Kapoor. The Jugg Jugg Jeeyo actress called Ranbir a wonderful father, better than Rishi Kapoor. She called Alia Bhatt, an outstanding mother. The Kapoors revealed many known and unknown secrets about their lives and careers. Kapil, Sunil, Krushna, Rajiv and Kiku presented different acts to make the guests and the audience laugh.
It would be interesting to see if The Great Indian Kapil Show continues to impress the viewers with future episodes. The guests expected this season are Aamir Khan, Rohit Sharma, Parineeti Chopra and others. A new episode will drop on Netflix every Saturday at 8 pm.
