Sridevi is one of the legendary actresses the Indian film industry had. However, on February 24, 2018, the actress bid an untimely goodbye to the world. Sridevi passed away due to accidental drowning in her hotel room’s bathtub in Dubai.

Today marks the 56th birth anniversary of the late actress. Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Janhvi Kapoor took to their social media pages earlier to share heartfelt posts in the memory of the actress.

On her birth anniversary today, Madame Tussauds Singapore announced that they will be launching her wax figure this year. Madame Tussauds Singapore took to their Twitter page to share a few glimpses of Sridevi’s wax statue.

As a tribute to Bollywood icon, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching her wax figure in early September this year! Her figure is one of its kind in the world, and it’s an exclusive addition to Madame Tussauds Singapore!”
