This cease-and-desist notice advises, the team from “screening, promoting, releasing, publicizing, advertising and exploiting the Hindi film titled Raees.” Mushtak through this notice has questioned the makers asking why and how are they making the film on his father’s life.

As per Mushtak, his father was a famous businessman with deep roots in the society and since the film is showing his father in negative light, he needs an explanation from the makers.

Reportedly, the set of house which was built in filmcity during the shooting, was supposedly the replica of Latif’s residence. Raees also stars debutante Mahira Khan.
