Salman Khan may only be presenting the children’s film Chillar Party but papa Salim Khan seems to have gone one step ahead!
An insider tells us that there was a special screening of ‘Chillar Party’, which Salman’s father Salim Khan also attended. After watching the movie, an emotional Salim Khan was so overwhelmed by the film that he presented one of his Filmfare awards to directors Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari! Considering that Salim Khan has 6 Filmfare awards, (for Zanjeer, Shakti and Deewar), his generosity has left us stumped. In fact, few people know that Rajkumar Hirani was supposed to present the film initially, but later Salman Khan took it up on behalf of his ‘Being Human’ foundation.
‘Chillar Party’ is a fun filled movie about a gang of innocent kids who lead a carefree and fun-filled life in Chandan Nagar Colony. Soon Fatka and Bheedu (a dog) come into their lives and they become an inseparable part of Chillar Party. The lives of these chillar party kids get difficult when Bheedu’s life is endangered, thanks to a mean politician. Together they fight the big bad world of politics and show that even small kids can move mountains.
